Releasing as part of the adidas Originals S/S22 collection, the controversial adidas Adilette 22 Slides St Desert Sand features a grooved Desert Sand foam construction that boasts a look reminiscent of eroded sediment. On the lateral side of the sole, text that reads "The Brand With The Three Stripes" nods to adidas' logo. From there, a soft footbed adds comfort and support. The release of the Slides caused much controversy between Kanye West and Adidas after Ye claimed the pair closely resembled his yeezy slides.
