The Air Jordan 14, originally inspired by Jordan’s Ferrari 550 Maranello, looks to another source of inspiration, featuring a dark red and black makeup, the pair takes inspiration from popular beauty products. The women’s-exclusive colourway is constructed out of a matte nubuck and suede leather, the majority of the sneaker indulges in a black aesthetic. Tongues, which follow original specifications, deliver stark red contrast, and work in-tandem with frosted-platinum aglets and metallic silver accents across the mid-foot to keep the silhouette from following a tonal arrangement. Elsewhere, the pair nods to its inspiration via the sock-liner and tissue paper with which they’re packaged as both feature lipstick-inspired detailing.
